Planning destination weddings at Sandals Resorts was always my dream job; I was hooked when I received one of their brochures in the mail. (And let's be honest, 12 year old me watching the movie, "The Wedding Planner" with J.Lo).
I decided to major in Travel & Tourism Management at UNCG, during which time I was also in the wedding planning industry. My first trip to Sandals in 2014 was full-on wedding training, and I have been helping couples plan their weddings and honeymoons ever since (over 1000 couples). I even planned my own destination wedding at Sandals South Coast!
Exploring is my favorite activity when I travel. I've been lucky to snorkel with whale sharks in Mexico, sea turtles in Curacao, and stingrays in Antigua. I've been white water rafting in Costa Rica, learned to scuba dive in St. Lucia, rode horses on the beach in Jamaica, swam in a waterfall in Grenada, and explored deserted islands in The Bahamas.
I've been to the islands so much and so often (looking at you, Jamaica, 20+ times), I haven't made it over to Europe yet! But it's on my list....

It all began on my first cross-country trip when I moved from North Carolina to California to work in the wine industry...beware of the travel bug!
After a couple of vintages, I landed my first international job in Australia. Afterwards, it was Oregon for a season of wine making and waterfall hunting, followed by New Zealand. I was lucky to spend 6 months there exploring and it is also where I recently got engaged - on a volcano! Easily my favorite place in the world, so far...probably always.
I've had the privilege to spend several weeks in Indonesia, take a sailing trip in Croatia, explore Christmas markets in Europe, see Tulip Season in The Netherlands, and within the recent years become extremely familiar with the Caribbean and Mexico.
Through travel, my passions for beekeeping (New Zealand) and diving (Indonesia) emerged. There are so many places to explore; I look forward to working through my bucket list and assisting with yours! I can't wait to get started on your travel plans, where to next?!
